Cory Monteith as born May 11th, 1982 in Calgary , Alberta, Canada.Discovered by filmmaker David DeCoteau for the film Killer Bash in 2005. Cory enjoys skimboarding and surfing in his free time. His favorite sports are hockey and basketball. He has had several odd jobs before considering acting , including a greeter at Walmart. He is the drummer for a band called Bonnie Dune. In an article in Parade magazine in June 2011 that he had a serious drug problem that started around age 13, He credits a relative giving him an ultimatum that made him finally look at his life.
