Gleeking Freaking! Jane Lynch,Chris Colfer and Amber Riley Mentoring TGPS2 Contenders!

The Glee Project Season 2 premiered  this past Tuesday on Oxygen with mentor Lea Michele for Individuality themed show. Next week will be The Glee Project Season 1 winner Sam Larsen  mentoring to Danceability episode. Followed the next few weeks with Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera through June. Now  the fun begins with Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer and Amber Riley added as mentors for July episodes!

Last season we didn’t get to see some of Glee’s biggest stars as mentors, but it seems like The Glee Project is pulling all the stops this year.

THR is reporting that Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer and Amber Riley will join The Glee Project season 2 as mentors:

“The funny thing about the mentors for this season is that the Glee cast really wanted to do it,” Murphy said. “The first season, they did not want to do it but then they all watched the show and they became fans of the show and for the most part they called me and said, ‘I want to do it!’ Lea [Michele] does it, Cory [Monteith] does it, Naya [Rivera] does it, Amber [Riley] does it, Darren does it, Chris Colfer does it, they all do it. Jane does it. They each have an episode.”

This is very exciting news! We can’t wait to see what each of these amazing performers brings to The Glee Project this season!
