Glee Announces Two New Characters , One Will Be a New Love Interest for Rachel

Glee announces two new characters for Season 4. One is a new love interest for Rachel (Lea Michele) since Finn(Cory Monteith)  is in the Army and is away from Rachel . The other is another Puckerman to walk the halls of McKinley High  in Lima, Ohio.  Glee is really shaking things up for Season  4. Who is this new hottie that is going to be entering  Rachel's life in New York City?

Ahead of its Television Critics Association appearance later today, Fox made a few announcements which it plans on discussing at its panel.

One of the announcements involved season 4 of Glee: Dean Geyer (above, left) and Jacob Artist (above, right) will be joining the show, and the former actor will play a love interest for Rachel.

“In the season premiere, Rachel Berry lands in New York City to attend NYADA  and meets Brody Weston (Geyer), a handsome upperclassman who shows an interest in her. Meanwhile, back at McKinley, Puck’s bad boy younger half-brother, Jack Puckerman, tries out for the glee club, but his attitude could derail his audition.”

We spoke to Lea Michele at Comic-Con last week, and she said they “want to see what it’s like for [Rachel and Finn] to be apart for a while now.”

Dean Geyer s a South African singer-songwriter and actor who came third in the 2006 season of the talent show television series, Australian Idol.In June 2010, Dean was announced to make his film debut in the Action Drama film Never Back Down 2. He will star alongside MMA fighter, Scott Epstein with Actor Michael Jai White to make his directional debut. Filming took place in September 2010 and wrapped in November. The film is set for a 13 September 2011 release.He has since returned to acting, taking the role of "Reynolds" on the new hit show produced by Steven Spielberg, Terra Nova.

Jacob Artist starred in the TV movie “Blue Lagoon: the Awakening” and was featured on the comedy series “Melissa & Joey.” He grew up in New York and graduated with honors from Williamsville South High School.
