Glee Season 4 Casting
Shooting on "Glee" season two begins on July 24, 2012.

The smash hit musical comedy-drama television series "Glee" is casting new series regulars to make up the new high school glee club for the show's fourth season. Filming is scheduled to start in late July, however rehearsals will possibly begin in early July. The show's extras will be cast closer to the start of shooting in July. "Glee" is filmed at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles utilizing a single-camera setup. Season 4 of "Glee" will launch on a new night and time on Thursday September 13, 2012 at 9:00-10:00pm ET/PT.
To kick off Glee's fourth season, Golden Globe Award winner and Academy Award nominee Kate Hudson will join the cast in a six-episode run. In her first return to television since "Sex in the City," Emmy Award-winning actress and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker will also guest star in the fourth season. Celebrated in film, television and fashion, Sarah Jessica Parker continues to expand upon her impressive collection of credits with her remarkable range and effortless style.
In regards to cast members returning to "Glee" season 4 - showrunner Ryan Murphy stated in May 2012 to Vulture.com, "We had a meeting, and you know we've become like a family, and I said to them, 'Anybody who wants to stay on the show will stay on the show. They're all coming back, anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes. It doesn't mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everyone wants to stay in our family and our world".
"Glee" is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan and Dante Di Loreto serve as executive producers. The series follows a hopeful teacher who attempts to save McKinley High’s glee club from obscurity while helping a group of talented kids realize their true star potential.
Minors and foreign talent must be legally eligible to work in the state of California and in the United States.
