Glee's episode "Choke" dealt with a domestic violence issue.  Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) was struck in the face by her new husband Cooter after having some beers. The girls wanted sing a song to her admiring her for getting out of the situation. Ironically she goes back to the abusive husband and no one knows! Tina(Jenna Ushkowitz),Santana(Naya Rivera) and Mercedes(Amber Riley) sing to her "Shake it Out" by Florence + The Machine.

Gleeksource has decided to post some retro performance of the Glee's seniors before they graduate in a few weeks. We will posting be  them periodically for your enjoyment. Think back why we fell in love with Rachel(Lea Michele), Finn(Cory Monteith), Quinn(Dianna Agron), Puck,(MarK Salling), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Santana(Naya Rivera) , and Mike(Harry Shum Jr.).

Chris Colfer who plays Kurt Hummel on the show Glee is trying out for a place at NYADA.  Rachel wanted him to go traditonal with a song from the "Phantom of the Opera" but Kurt decided at the last minute to change it up a bit and perform "The Boy Next Door" done by Hugh Jackman originally in the musical The Boy from Oz". I think that performance won his a place at NYADA.  He certainly did not choke on this audition!

Glee's episode "Choke" included a song  from "My Fair Lady" musical  "The Rain in Spain" as the Glee guys are trying to cram in Puckerman's head some Geography so he can pass his final to graduate!  In the end they effort brought failure for Puck(Mark Salling). He choked!

In Glee's episode "Choke"  Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Santana(Naya Rivera), Mercedes(Amber Riley), Sugar (Vanessa Lengies), and Brittany (Heather Morris) sing "Cell Block Tango" from the musical "Chicago" after giving an assignment  by Coach Roz(Nene Leakes) about songs that empower women after hearing Santana say  a sarcastic remark to Coach Beiste(Dot-Marie Jones) about domestic violence.
