As we know Glee Season 5 episode 3 is going to deal with the death of one of Glee's most beloved characters Finn Hudson. The actor that protrayed Finn on Glee was the late Cory Monteith who died tragically on July 13th of an heroin overdose. Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) in an interview spoke earlier about how hard it is going to be to do this episode. Jane just read the script and this is what she had to say.
Jane Lynch tweeted this about an hour ago: "Just read Cory Monteith memorial episode. Most beautiful thing. Thank you, MrRPMurphy @BFalchuk Ian Brennan. "
Jane spoke with ENews and this is what she had to say:
We asked her what it's been like going back to work after losing Cory Monteith so suddenly over the summer, and she got visibly choked up. "It's tough," she tells us, adding that even she doesn't know how they are going to write Finn off the show. "We have to deal with it in the story. I don't know how we're going to do that, but it will soon be revealed." On a lighter note, we were the ones who broke the news to her that Demi Lovato will be joining the cast in season five. Lynch was happy to hear about the addition to the show, gushing that The X Factor judge is "wonderful!" And we're also excited to hear that Demi's character will reportedly be singing "Here Comes the Sun" with Santana.
Finn and Coach Sue might have been at odds on the show but professionally they truly loved one another and had great respect for each other.
Iqbal Theba (Principal Figgins) just tweeted, '
I know a Lot of u think they won't be able to watch #Glee without Cory. But if @MsLeaMichele n the cast/crew can go thru it then so can u'
We have to agree!!
